What is the SMS Short Number service?

There are two categories of short numbers. Short numbers for toll-free SMS for VALA customers starting with 50XXX and Premium short numbers starting from 51XXX to 55XXX.

Toll-free short numbers (50XXX)

This is a service that enables various businesses in the Republic of Kosovo to offer their customers the opportunity to receive SMS from their customers, without incurring any costs to them. So, the VALA customer does not spend anything for this service when sending an SMS.

Suitable for analysis, research, customer care, etc.

Toll-free short numbers (51XXX – 55XXX)

They can be used for payments over the phone, for various games, donations, humanitarian work, or any other needs that businesses may have.

Who qualifies for this service?

All businesses registered in the Republic of Kosovo and assigned a number by the Electronic and Postal Communications Regulatory Authority.
